We have been trying for the last 6 weeks to claim points for Qantas Business Class International flights!
These were flights between the UK and Australia - 5 flights all together at a cost of more than $20,000
I have wasted hour upon hour on frustrating calls with the Manila call centre and they are useless... Since Qantas moved to this off shore facility, what was once seamless has now become a nightmare.
They either have system errors or are just not managing to deal with their new role. Such a pity that we have abandoned the call centres (Tassie & NZ) that were professional to deal with.
$4k per person plus points .... You are doing something wrong here. As other have said use the Qantas website and select classic rewards. You may also find it easier to fly into europe rather than the UK as it will open up more options from OW partners

I am not sure you understood what the OP is saying. He is claiming missing points from a revenue ticket, not booking a reward seat.
You can easily claim points online without dealing with the call centre.
In theory yes, but they have rejected one of mine recently as they can't match my name (Finnair ticket flying QF metal). At the same time, on the connecting Finnair flight, the points claim was approved - despite it being the same name, same ticket, same PNR. They don't make things easy.
Thanks for all the suggestions. We did try claiming point on-line but they were also rejected as (apparently) the call centre had no corresponding record of us taking these flights ... it even showed up on my statement as a rejected claim, So another 2 hours on the line to the call centre ... the entire process was extremely frustrating.
Also wrote a letter to Olivia Wirth - CEO Qantas Loyalty ... surprisingly, I didn't even get a response !
Try emailing a copy of your boarding passes to [email protected], with a description of the other efforts you have taken to have the points credited. If that fails, I would enlist the support of the Airline Customer Advocate (http://www.airlinecustomeradvocate.com.au).
I tried claiming points on line for a Finnair flight in Biz class and it just came back invalid sector! Total rubbish and no recourse to anyone. The non in-flight service of Qantas has virtually disappeared in last 5+years.
