Does anyone know if VA has resumed allowing Platinum and Business passengers to access the lounge upon arrival? Thanks.

Short answer: No.
Attempted on arrival access (as platinum & flying business) on arrival in BNE on the Australia Day long weekend.
The first answer was no - due to COVID, but after explaining we just wanted to quickly change the baby’s nappy, we were allowed in.

Yes you can use the lounge after arrival, did it yesterday in BNE. VA gold.

Just been refused lounge entry on arrival at Perth !! Virgin Platinum Mel-Per . WtF ?? Since when ?? I have travelled last three years weekly and use the benefit for 60mins to charge iPhone and bathrooms . CHANGE THE POLICY NOW . Or suffer the walkout ....

I’ve been able to gain access on arrival when I’ve used the self service kiosk, but was denied when I approached the counter on a separate occasion.
