Does anyone know if VA has resumed allowing Platinum and Business passengers to access the lounge upon arrival? Thanks.

Short answer: No.

Attempted on arrival access (as platinum & flying business) on arrival in BNE on the Australia Day long weekend.

The first answer was no - due to COVID, but after explaining we just wanted to quickly change the baby’s nappy, we were allowed in.

Why VA lounge? Is there nowhere else at BNE to change a nappy?

Not for people who think they are above using a public bathroom by the sounds of it ;)

If I have access to a quieter and likely cleaner and more hygienic place to change my baby's nappy, why wouldn't I choose that option?

Agree with you on that one sim86on, I have done exactly the same thing before. I expect tommygun and tripleplatinum2 get their coffee at a public cafe even though they could get one in the lounge :)

Haha hardly, I just have more pride than to try to use a kid to gain lounge access I am not entitled to!

If you were entitled to lounge access then fair enough, not in this case.
