Qantas extends business class 'sleep service' to Asia, Europe

Qantas is continuing the rollout of its sleep service on international business class flights over the coming six weeks.
The sleep service includes a mattress for the Skybed seat, for a more cushioned surface which also removes any noticeable bumps from the fold-down seat in sleeper mode, with the option of a cosy duvet instead of a blanket.
To help nudge you into the land of nod there's also a sleep-inducing herbal tea from T2.
After making its debut in early November on the Sydney-Los Angeles flight (QF107/108), the airline says this is "soon to be followed by more flights to LA from 17 December" – presumably on Melbourne and Brisbane services – with Dallas, Johannesburg and New York starting January 7th, 2013.
Up next are the long legs through Singapore to London and Frankfurt, which get the upgrade from January 14th.
From January 28th, Qantas flights to Hong Kong, Tokyo/Narita, Bangkok, Jakarta, Shanghai and Manila will round out the 'forty winks at 40,000 feet' programme.

Im on QF22 from NRT-SYD on the 28th....will it have the sleeper service? :)

Probably not. The outbound flight (which leaves on the 27th) won't have any of the necessary bits and pieces on board.

hopefully it also applies to QF 11/12, when i was on it last week it was still using the old toilet bags and no mattress

Update - as of yesterday, the QF12 has the new mattress, but not new toilet bags. surprised it takes that long to move to new bags, maybe they're just clearing their stock of the old bags...
On the new mattress - its a very thin layer that is flexible enough to stay on the seat the entire flight, even when the seat is not fully flat, which is good. However it is so thin that I didn't feel like it did anything at all. I don't really mind the bumps and kinks on the seat, but the mattress made no noticeable difference to those bumps.
