Great news, although may need to amend the comment re "Sydney’s first luxury hotel in 20 years". In the heart of the financial district yes, but Sofitel Darling Harbour broke the drought for Sydney.

The author completely underestimates the numbers of flyers who don't leave the lounge until the flight has been called. Why can't they have a self-scanner at the entrance that beeps/green, alerts/red. Then staff can inform passengers upon approach to change lanes if they cheekily proceed.

Every week there seems to be an Etihad cutback story. I just find it sad, but I guess to be expected when they were setup on a stack of free funds.

It's the only airline website I've noticed having such problems. If common, it's probably because of Amazon ...

Thanks for the comments guys. Interesting Beijing was mentioned because my flight of concern is Sydney-Jakarta, which was almost exclusively upgraded, but has now quite a number of old configs flying. I was hoping the upgrade be complete by December, as QF originally indicated.

Seems that the upgrades to the remaining a330s has grounded to a halt. Anyone have any info on this?
