Of course you still get points with afterpay, why wouldn’t you?

Afterpay, cash, credit, debit, barter, indenture - doesn’t make any difference. Credits come from flying, not payment method.

Make sure you don't go on a Tuesday....MONA doesn't open on Tuesday.

A Max bundle will earn 20 SCs each way to Hobart. A Plus bundle will only earn 10 SCs each way.
I only have 120K

I would book the Jetstar flight for the earliest day that you can fit it into your schedule (at the price that is right for you). Hopefully you can make the trip before the end of the month of in the first week of June, well before you need to meet your niece/nephew
A plus bundle each way will get you the 20 SC's that you need to qualify for gold, about 2-3 days after the flight you will see them on you QFF account. A max bundle would see you hit that it one flight & give you the flexibility to change the date. Whether it's worth the extra cost is up to you. Note that you will need to add the bundle at the time of booking. As posted by another member. plus bundle = QF economy earn rate, max bundle = flex economy earn

Incorrect. Max bundles do earn points and SC, usually double that of a Plus bundle.

You could always fly to ADL and back in the one day, that way you can get your 20SC and enjoy some of the country's best wines.

Just to clarify first point, if a QC member and then attain Gold your membership is paused as in say you have 4 months left on current membership when u hit Gold and then after a year lose Gold you still have 4 months membership left before you have to pay another year and your membership anniversary will change ?

Hope your right that Jetstar has improved points posting - it was ridiculous that Cathay points and SCs arrived in 3 or 4 days while Jetstar took weeks.
