Hi CBRQF

My offer came with flights to melbourne in subject line, but reading the T&C's below, it said any QF flight, so double check.

Yep, I had the same. I had searched (not booked) for a flight to Moree and that was also in the subject line of the email offer I received.

I received one today for 50% more Status Credits on all eligible Qantas domestic flights for travel between January 11 and June 30 2017. Very interesting if this is another targeted situation as I am very close to reaching a higher status and I have been doing a few dummy booking on qantas website (to price a trip on January 11, so obviously Qantas can read my mind haha.

Here's a random question - usually on these offers, if I book Flexi tickets and then change my flights do they still give you the bonus credits? I'm chasing credits and happy to book a few trips but the dates I'll actually need to travel may change.

In my offer I only have 7 days to book but from mid Jan until June 30 to fly

If I have some credit from a previous booking that I cancelled, would a booking using this be eligible for double credits or not given the PNR existed before the offer?

Hi...I received this offer yesterday morning. It is for domestic bookings only. Not sure why i received it based on my lowly status but it will allow me to move up a level with me booking 6 months of forward travel and managing to get it done in this years underspent travel budget.

I received this offer this week. A week after I made 3 domestic bookings. Sigh.

I also received this email but unfortunately can't take advantage of it. My one trip that falls into the specified time frame is SYD-OOL return and has already been booked.   GRRrr!

Hi All,
Came across this link https://www.qantas.com/fflyer/dyn/memberSpecials/double-status-credits-global for travel.
  1. Simply register below for this offer (all passengers in the booking must register separately to earn double status credits).
  2. Book an eligible Qantas operated flight between 28 April and 4 May 2016, for travel from 28 April 2016 to 16 April 2017.
Is this for real or did I hit a scam site?
Registration for this promotion has long lapsed.

If there's one thing I've learned in 16 years of frequent flying it's the importance of re-thinking your loyalty from time to time... do it once a year at least... assess all the options on a blank sheet and decide what makes most sense for you. Right now Qantas isn't coming up trumps.

Sorry this was in response to:

I'd like to know too. It *annoys* me that they do this. I'm a very loyal customer trying to get to Platinum One level and could use this promotion. I'm wondering if I'm too loyal - Qantas maybe ignores good customers as they assume you'll keep flying anyway. Coupled with some bizarrely rude treatment from a flight attendant recently in the Business cabin, flying domestically, I might just re-think my loyalty.

Well, i got the offer and got suckered in... but this time for a good reason... to reach LifeTime Gold...!!  So their marketing strategy sorta works...hahaha  Very specific target date before Christmas though, and only a few months to fly...

7 days only! Book an eligible Qantas flight and receive 50% more Status Credits.

"Simply register and make a new booking between 19 December 2016 and 25 December 2016 for travel from 19 December 2016 to 18 April 2017."
