Emirates launches 'self-moisturising' first class pyjamas

Slip into your first class pyjamas on Emirates' Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 jets and you'll be stepping into some decidedly high-tech sleepwear.

The Gulf airline is trumpeting its latest premium PJs as a world first: they're made from a unique 'self-moisturising' material containing billions of tiny capsules with gently release a nutrient-rich sea kelp extract to keep your skin from drying out.

The 'Hydra Active Microcapsule Technology' is good for around 10 washes, Emirates says, so first class flyers can continue to be pampered while they sleep at their luxe hotel or back at home.

The pyjamas include matching slippers and eye mask and come in a stylish felt pouch, and are accompanies by VOYA skincare products in the Airbus A380 shower suites plus new Bulgari amenity kits for first class (below) and business class.

Very sexy! Let's hope the moisturizer doesn't feel oily or greasy.

If they do, jump in the hot shower before breakfast.
Emirates are just wonderful.

Haha could be better in theory than practice! If it works well though, that'd be great in the drying cabin environment.

Flying EK F next year and wondering will the pjs fit someone of size. Do they have "one size fits most" only.

Am I correct in thinking Emirates still don't offer pyjamas in business class? I'm flying to London on the A380 in July and it's the only advantage Qantas seem to have over Emirates business?!

Special K...if you have a pair of QF PJ's take those and wear them; I do and makes for a much better experience. EK are amazing on the ultra long haul flights. The bar at the rear alone is a welcome feature. Until QF have a direct isle access seating on the A380 ill keep booking QF flights but choosing EK aircraft where possible.
